On Monday, September 14, the Islamic School of Trenton will be having its annual Multicultural Day, insha’Allah. Alhumdulillah, our last year’s event was very successful with enthusiastic participation from parents and students alike. This year, we will again be offering the opportunity for students to dress up in their cultural clothes and experience a ‘Multicultural Food Fair’ where they can sample foods from various cultures. For this day to be successful, we are relying on parents to make donations of food typical to their culture, insha’Allah. All contributions will be greatly appreciated.
If you are able to provide some food for the event, it is important that you complete the attached form and return it to your child’s classroom teacher. We are asking you to complete the “Ingredient Form” to assist in the identification of any potential allergens. If you need assistant in completing the form, please feel free to contact us.
Please consider that we need to be aware of serious allergies, particularly but not limited to peanuts, when preparing, cooking, transporting and serving foods. We ask that you do not use any nuts or nut products in the food. If your child has an allergy to foods or ingredients, please contact the office immediately. Thank you for your support and cooperation.
We are looking forward to see you on Monday, September 14.
